The Prison Visit Program -  

Some NCM staff personnel are volunteers who work under the supervision of chaplains at local prisons, as well as in penitentiaries across eastern Ontario and elsewhere. This status permits visits to these institutions for the purpose of reaching out to inmates with the gospel message, or in the case of inmates who are believers, with discipleship type ministry. 

Group Bible study is also permitted in some locations. Christian reading material and Bible correspondence courses are left behind and followed up on subsequent visits. The inmates make requests to meet with our staff and many of our contacts are made through these prison visits.

Community Re-integration Program - 

The NCM staff team try to maintain regular contact with each man and their family as they are released from prison or graduate from the Center. We offer 24 hour counseling and emotional support. This program ensures that these men have positive friends in the community. We assist the men in finding employment, invite them to our homes for meals and fellowship, and do what any good friend would do. We also have weekly fellowship times, and breakfasts where they meet other strong Christians. These times produce some close friendships and provide for accountability, and many of the men begin to attend a local church as the result of such contacts. Every effort has been made to introduce our graduates and their families to mature Christians and to Bible-believing fellowships in their local communities. In addition, our follow-up staff team meet regularly for coffee or meals with individuals and their family members in order to encourage, and at times to challenge them.

Follow-up Support Program - 

As part of community reintegration NCM provides a home in Ottawa for men who are working or attending school and need a stable living environment. Follow-up and encouragement and are offered to them and their families.
